Halo 3

Halo 3 promises to be the next major hit for the Xbox 360.  Many a new console will be sold in order to play this newest game of the wildly successful series that originated with the original Xbox.

Halo 3 will be available in a "regular" version, a "Limited Edition" and a "Legendary Edition".  The collectors edition will include a hard bound collection of information and art along with a bonus disk.  The "legendary edition" will arrive in a collectible helmet case and include two bonus disks. 

Along with sales of the video game will be sales of Halo 3 toys, action figures and accessories and downloads of Halo 3 wallpapers, trailers and ringtones.

Halo 3 is an epic science fiction game based around Master Chief, a human super soldier and the battle in a futuristic universe.  The original Halo was the Xbox's killer app in 2001.

Halo 3 looks to take advantage of the increased power of the Xbox 360 with exceptional improvements in graphics and gameplay.  Halo 3 promises to be loaded with high definition visuals and an engrossing story line.

If you are reading this from the perspective of a parent who is unfamiliar with Halo and are hearing from you kids about Halo 3, Halo 3 is probably not a game appropriate for young children as it is rated M for mature for Blood & Gore, Violence and Mild language. 

Halo 3 Toys

McFarlane Toys has recently announced a licensing agreement with Microsoft to create toys based on the Halo series.  Halo has a very loyal following from it's fans.  The Halo 3 toys are set to be released in stores in the spring of 2008.

Halo 3 Action Figures

The Halo 3 action figures are about 5 inches tall and very realistically depicted.  They include weapons and have multiple movement options.  The Halo 3 Action Figures that are targeted to be released are:

• Brute Chieftain
• Cortana
• Jackal Snipe
• Grunt 2-Pack
• along with 3 vehicles - Warthog, Brute Chopper and Ghost

Halo 3 Toy weapons

Jasmine Toys is planning on bringing a line of Halo 3 Toy weapons out to fans soon after the Halo 3 video game release.  The full size replicas will appeal to both collectors and those looking to recreate the Halo experience.  The weapons will include lights, sounds, vibrations and include an infared beam and LCD hit counter.
