What is one of the first things that you see
when you enter into the local movie
theater? You will see movie posters for
each of the movies that are showing as well as
those that are "coming soon". The
addition of several framed movie posters are an
easy and relatively inexpensive way to
transform your media room into a home movie
theater. You can place movie posters of
the movie you are currently showing or of your

Poster lightboxes and poster%20cases
While adding movie posters can be a great
way to get a home movie theater feel, the
addition of poster%20cases or lightboxes will
give your theater a touch of class and
professionalism. Lightboxes allow you to
proudly display your movie posters
by illuminating them from behind to give a
dramatic look to your movie posters.
Other options include elaborate cases and
poster marquees to match any decor and

The other thing that makes a movie
theater unique is the smell of popcorn as
you walk through the lobby. There are a

Carribean themed room. If you have access
to props actually used in the movie, they
would be real collector's items and a real
point of conversation for your guests.
Signatures of movie stars displayed in a
shadowbox would also be a welcome addition.
Custom movie introductions
Another regular feature at almost any
theater is the pre-show intro showing movie
trivia, soft drink advertisements, movie goofs
and games and movie previews. You can get

gathering for the show.

Another of the more popular home theater

Finishing touches

theater wall sconces, etc. Use your
imagination. There are all kinds of knick
knacks to be added to give a personalized feel
to match your decor.
Some of the above are extravagent, pricier
additions, while some are simple and
cheap. Don't under estimate the impact
that any of these items can have for your home
movie theater. These individualized
additions will create a unique look and feel to
your room helping transform it from a normal
family room to a true home movie theater that
